We are excited to announce the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) is now accepting nominations for the 93rd James E. Sullivan Award. This prestigious award has been presented annually since 1930 to the most
outstanding athlete at the collegiate or Olympic level in the United States. Nominations are open now through June 21, 2023.
Winners have achieved great success on a national and/or international stage through competition in collegiate athletics, Olympic pursuit, or similar high profile competitions. The AAU Sullivan Award is presented to the athlete who has demonstrated the most athletic success – as well as leadership, character, and sportsmanship – while competing in their sport.
We are looking for the top athletes at the collegiate or Olympic level who competed in 2022-2023 and exemplify what the AAU Sullivan Award is all about.
